Radical polymerization of 14 kinds of different dialkyl fumarates (DRFs) in the presence of AIBN and BPO were studied. It has been found that all DRFs monomers can undergo ho- mopolymerization in the presence of free radical initiators. The polymerization reactivities of DRFs increase in the following order: DCHF>DtBF>DiPF>MiPF
DEF
DsBF
DsAF> DEHF>DnHF>DiBF
DiAF
DnPF
DnBF
DnAF. This phenomenon was explained on the basis of analysis of DRFs monomers structures. Structures of DRFs polymers as well as their properties were characterized by means of IR
