The miscibility of blends of poly (acrylonitrile-vinylphenol)[P(An-VPh)]
in which hydroxyls were introduced to tbe opposites sites of pbenolie rings of poly (acrylonilrile-styrene)[P(An-S)]
with bisphenol-A pdycarbonate (PC) and tetramethyl bisphenol-A polycarbonate(TMPC) was studied.As a consequence.auseible svsteins could be obtained under the combination of the“intermolecular special interation”and the“intramolecular repulsive interaction”
due to the existing of hydroxyl groups in the copolymer of the blend system.The miscible blends were obtained only when the An eontem in the copolymer was between 12.3% and 49.5% mol in the fist pair.and O~58.9% mol in the second pair The theoretical calculation and simulation based on the Flory-Huggins mean field theory were made
and the results agreed well with the experimental ones
