This paper presents a solvent evaporation method with silicone oil (PDMS) as the continuous phase for preparation of microcapsules. No surfactant was used in the microcapsule preparation process.Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)
tetraethylene glycol (TEG) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) have been prepared respectively. The prepared microcapsules are orbicular with very compact surfaces
and the mean diameters are around 10~100 μm.With increasing the viscosity of PDMS or decreasing the concentration of polymer solution
the mean diameters of microcapsules decrease. The loading ratio of microcapsules can be easily controlled by adding separation agents into PDMS.The loading ratio of ALQ/PAN
TEG/CA and BSA/CTS microcapsules can reach up to 0.43
