The miscibility and complexation behavior of poly(styrene-co-4-vinylphenol)(STVPh) and poly(styrene-co-4-vinylpyridine)(STVPy) in bulk have been investigated bydifferential scanning calorimetry (DSC) combined with physical aging as well as non radiative energy transfer (NRET) fluorospectroscopy . It has been found that when thehydroxylcontent in STVPh reaches 3

the miscibility of STVPh with STVPycan be achieved which contains 25
50
75 mol% vinylpyridine unit (VPy) respectively. It is noticeable that when the hydroxyl content is further increased
complex formation between the components occurs. An apparent casting solvent effect on both moscibility and complenxation has been also discussed.
