having particle sizes of 3-5 μ and 5-10 ft for high-performance GPC was prepared by a refined method. The molecular weight permeation limit of this packing for polystyrene was found to be 4×104 to 7×106. Its separation capacity is not less than 0.6

and the column efficiency is higher than 1×104 plates/m. Experimental results showed that it is possible to separate 100-3×106 MW samples in 10 minutes on a 30 cm×10 mm column. The behavoir of NWG under different flow velocities is in accord with the expectation of the material balance equation theory of GPC.
