In order to solve the characterization of interface in polymer blends

a new method that the interface is exposed by solvent dissolving selectively was put forward. By means of X-ray photoelectron spectrometry

we studied the molecular state of compatibilizer in the interfacial area of polyolefin and polar polymer

including -functionalized polymer

graft copolymer and polymer with reactive groups. The experimental results showed that when using as compatibilizers

functionalized polymer adopted favorable conformation to develop completely compatibilization efficiency in the interfacial area the backbone polymer and branch polymer of graft copolymer diffuse into the corresponding miscible polymer bulks;and the reactive groups enriched in the interfacial area before polymer with reactive groups reacting with some polymer bulks.
