SYNTHESIS OF ACTIVE ACRYLIC ESTERS OF 8-HYDROXYQUINOLINE AND CONJUGATION OF PROTEIN WITH THEIR POLYMERS
8-acryloxy-quinoline (AQ) and 8-me-thacryloxy-quinoline (MAQ) were synthesized from 8-hydroxyquinoline and corresponding acryl chlorides and polymerized. These two polymers
due to the neighbouring group effect of nitrogen atom on the quinolyl ring
are reactive towards ammonolysis or alcoholysis reactions under mild condition and therefore
can be used to couple proteins. Stirring p(AQ) or p(MAQ) with glucoamylase in borate buffer of pH 7 at room temperature
immolbilized enzyme with specific activity of 5328μ/g and 4320μ/g were obtained respectively.
