A PS／PVC macroreticular bead polymer material was synthesized by interpenetrating polymerization of styrene into macroporous poly(vinyl chloride)bead

i．e．PS／PVC MR-IPN matrix．A series of the adsorption resins were prepared by further reaction of PS／PVC MR-IPN matrix with ethylenediamine

diethylenetriamine and triethylenetretamine．The resulting resins were applied to adsorb uric acid．The results show that these resins have higher sorption percentage

adsorption capacities and faster sorption speed for uric acid. The composition and properties of the resulting resins

as well as the influence factors for the eliminating uric acid character were investigated．
