and the macroporous weakly anton exchange resin D301 wag made.It was found that the aminated hypercrosslinked resins had the hishest adsorption capacities of resorcinol among the three types of polymers The results indicated that the efiective interactions causing different adsorption capacities of resorcinol on the three aminaled hypercrossllnked polymefic adsorbents were mainly the Van der Waals force and the hydrogen-bonding interaction The adsorptions of resorcinol on the hypererosslinked resins were all spontaneous exothermic processes of physical characters.A first-order irreversible reaction rate equation was suitable to the adsorption process and the adsorption rate constants decreasing with increasing the content of tertiary amino groups in the resins.
