The Bioresorbable nanofiber mats of poly(1actide-CO-glycolide)/β-tricalcium phosphate composites (PLGA/β-TCP)were eleetrospun.The effects of the most important processing parametem including PLGA solution concentration
β-TCP/PLGA weight ratio
feed rate
voltage
and distance between the tip and the receiver on the composite nanofiber mats were investigated in detail.Then
the composite nanofiber mats were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)
TEM(transmission electron microscopy)and tensile tester.The SEM images showed that the diameters of PLGA/β-TCP nanofibers were inereased with the increasing of the concentration of PLGA and feed rate.The resuIts of tensile tests revealed that the tensile strength and Young’S modulus of the composite nanofiber mats were lowered with increasing the content ofβ-TCP.
