The intrinsic viscostiy of terpolymers of acrylic acid (AA)
acrylamide
and methacryloloxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride (DMC) in aqueous sholution of different added salts has been determined by the method of dilution in constrant concentration of added salts. The experimental results show that all terpooymers display trypical ordinary polyelectrolyte viscosity behavior in different concentration of NaCl solution and NaNO3 solution while the terpolymers with approximate balanced stoichiometry display typical polyampholyte viscosity behavior in different conentration of Na2SO4 solution. Effects of different added salts on the intrinsic viscosity of terooymers solution are inthe order:Na2SO4>CaCl2
