Polymer dispersed liquid crystal samples have been fabricated by using photopolymerization induced phase separation method at different cure temperatures.Liquid crystal textures formed in droplets were investigated under optical microscopy in its ON state and OFF state.A simple method of determing the inflence of cure temperature on phase separation degree has been studied by measuring the phase transition temperature of those droplets
and the phase separation structure has been observed by using scanning electron microscopy. Results show that in a suitable cure temperature range
the average diameter of liquid crystal droplets will become smaller and more uniform as the cure temperature was increased
and also the formed liquid crystal droplets will become more pure and the matrix morphology can be formed from"normal"to "reverse" mode. Those results will be given and discussed.
