A new functional electroluminescent copolymer (DB-PV) containing an ionic conductive block—crown ether and an electronically conductive 0ne——alkoxy substituted poly(phenylene vinylene) in the main chain was synthesized.The copolymer was characterized by FT-IR

etc.The photoluminescence properties of the copolymer in chloroform solutions and in films were investigated
respectively.The results show that DB-PV is an ideal functional blue-emission polymer fitted for fabricating light-emitting electrochemical cells
because it can be soluble in chloroform
pyridine and possesses a good film-forming property.
