he isothermal and non-isothermal crystallization behaviors of blends o f thermotropic liquid crystalline polyester (LCP) and PET have been studied.The crystallization rate and crytallinity of PET in The blends were signifcantly higher than that of pure PET
which suggests that LCP component acts as a nucleating agent for crystallization of PET. The most efficient nucleation is found at a low content of LCP component (about 2 wt%LCP)
implying that the microdomain or aggregating segments of LCP would be the nuclei for PET.
