Sequential poly (vinyl acetate)/poly (methyl acrylate) interpenetrating polymer networks (PVAc/PMA-IPNs) were synthesized. The crosslinking agent of PVAc and PMA is diallyl succinate (DAS) and divinylbenzene (DVB)
respectively. When the plrecentage of DAS added is small
grafting reaction contributes crosslink level of PVAc obviously. Dynamic mechanical results shows that the important influence on
phase separation in PVAc/PMA-IPNs
is from the temperature of synthesis and sol-gel transition during the process of IPNs'pre-paration.
