6-tetramethylpiperidine(MTMP) in petroleum ether and acetic acid. The structure of the resultant stable radical oligomer was characterized by IR.EPR and TGA techniques. The inhibiting effect of PMTMPO for bulk polymerization of acrylic acid
initia-ted by AIBN
at 90℃ has been Studied. The results show that the efficiency of inhibition was found to depend on the concentrations of the nitroxyl radical in PMTMPO.
