Two synthetic methods of polyvinyl alcohol with high absorbency for saltliquor were described: (1) Make partially phosphorylated polyvinyl alcohol crosslinking using Zr(IV) salt as crosslinking agents. (2) Make polyvinyl alcohol
free phosphoricacid and ZI(IV) salt forming crosslinking complex resin. The absorbency of synthesizedcomplex resin for 1% NaCl liquors is above 100 times by both (1) and (2). It is fairly stable in water
