The effect of the content of "W-893" coupling agent and that of particle size
type and content of CaCOe on the impact strengh of HDPE compound were discussed. HDPE compouned filled with 50 PHR CaCOe has the impact strength of 542.35 J /m
which is 3.7 times that of HDPE matrix. An investigation of impact fracture morphology of HDPE compound has ben undertaken by SEM(scanning electron microscope) which showed that impact fracture surface of L-1250 CaCO3 that of both L-325 CaCO3 and W- 1250 CaCO3 filled HDPE compound exhibit flocculence structure.In banded structure
the direction of alligament band is always vertical to that of deformation and yield of HDPE whether it is parallel to the loaded force or not.
