Based on interfacial layer properties of rigid particle toughening polymer system

processing flow behavior and mechanical properties of polypropylene(PP)hybrid composites
which were mixed with Kaolin coated by modifier with flexible molecular chain as a toughening agent and short glass fiber(GF) as a reinforcer
were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM)
differential scanning calorameter(DSC)
molten index test( MI ) and mechanical tests.The results shown that notched lzod impact strength(S1)of the PP composites is improved by hybrid modification
especially in the presence of 50%(wt%)Kaolin cintent
while tensile strength and flexible modulus of these composites are not decreased.
