By use of simplex optimization method and numeritical integration
a mathematic model of the Alfery-Goldfinger differential equation is set up and a general computer stream line program is worked out
which can be used to compute either the reactivity ratios of the monomers in a tercopolymer system according to the initial composition and the composition of the copolymer at any conversion or the composition of a copolymer if the reactivity ratios of monomers are known. The system composed of styrene、 acrylonitrile and β-bromostyrene is used to test the usefullness of the program.
