Mixtures of Poly (MMA-co-BMA) with different composition have been prepared by solution casting. The miscibility and the phase transition have been examined over the whole range of concentration by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
optical microscope and torsional braid analysis (TBA). The mixture was found miscible below 10% (by weight) Cholesteryl nonanoate content. Within wider range of concentration
Cholesteryl nonanoate in mixture can still form liquid crystalline phase or crystalline phase on certain conditions.The liquid crystalline phase can also been frozen in below Tg of the copolymer.Melting enthaply △HK
